Christine (Surette) Tidd, a devoted wife, mother, and creative spirit, passed away, leaving a profound legacy of strength, love, and positivity. Despite living with heart-related health challenges, Christine faced life with unwavering optimism, always wearing a beautiful smile even during difficult times. Her resilience and compassionate nature made her a cherished presence in the lives of her family, friends, and community.

Christine is survived by her husband, Matthew Tidd, her best friend and lifelong partner, with whom she built a close-knit family. Together, they raised three children—Morgan, Greyson, and Jenson—who were the center of Christine’s world. She also shared a special bond with the family dog, Winston.

Her family was her foundation, and she leaves behind her parents, Maurice and Annette (Bourgoin) Surette, as well as her siblings, Kevin (Lindsay) and Denise (Yves). Christine was closely connected to her extended family, including her godparents, Maurice and Anne Bourgoin, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws. Her in-laws, Ken and Peggy Tidd, along with brothers- and sisters-in-law, mourn her loss, as do her niece and nephews—Avah, Jacob, and Jack.

Known for her artistic talents, Christine loved photography, and her expressive photo shoots were admired by friends and community members. She also enjoyed painting, crafting, and music, with a particular gift for playing the guitar and piano.

Christine’s faith was an important source of comfort, especially in the face of her health struggles. She was deeply loving, always giving her best to her family and finding joy in creative expression and everyday moments. Her passing leaves a void, but her strength, creativity, and enduring love will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
