Morehead City, North Carolina – Authorities have announced that 13-year-old Olivia Nicole Kimbro, who was reported missing late on April 16, 2026, has been safely located and is now in police custody. The news has brought relief to the community, which had been deeply concerned following her disappearance.
At the time of her disappearance, Olivia was described as a white female, 5 feet tall, weighing around 125 pounds, with faded pink blonde hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt and black pants. Authorities initially believed Olivia may have been with a man, described as a Black male, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing around 200 pounds, and wearing a black tank top, black shorts, black shoes, and a black do-rag, with multiple visible tattoos on his arms. They were thought to be traveling in a white Chevrolet Equinox, model years 2005-2009.
The Morehead City Police Department, along with local law enforcement, had issued an Amber Alert and requested the public’s assistance in locating Olivia. The investigation remains active, with the male subject now identified, though further details about his identity or involvement have not been released at this time.
