Quacere Hagans Obituary, Nassau County, NY Shooting Death: Tragic Loss, Gone Too Soon

Authorities have confirmed the tragic death of Quacere “Chase” Hagans, a 15-year-old freshman at Longwood High School, who was fatally shot during a violent altercation at Eisenhower Park. The shooting occurred around 8:30 p.m. on a Wednesday night, following reports of gunfire at a large gathering.

According to law enforcement, an argument among a group of individuals escalated into a deadly exchange of gunfire. During the incident, Hagans was struck and rushed to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Two other victims, aged 28 and 31, were also shot and remain in critical condition.

While initially seen as an innocent victim, authorities later confirmed that Hagans was involved in the confrontation and had a firearm at the time of the shooting.
