The Pageland community is reeling from the tragic loss of Daniel Omarion Carter, a vibrant 23-year-old whose life was senselessly cut short on the morning of April 13, 2026, in Chesterfield County. Carter was fatally shot in a violent incident that has left his family, friends, and all who knew him in profound grief.

According to the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to the scene around 7:45 a.m. in response to reports of a shooting.
