Juan Salinas Obituary, Cheyenne, WY Motorcycle Accident Death: Community Mourns A Loss

The Cheyenne, Wyoming community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of 19-year-old Juan Salinas Jr., who tragically passed away following a motorcycle crash on April 7, 2026. According to the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office, the fatal crash occurred around 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of West Riding Club Road and Hynds Boulevard. Investigators reported that Juan was riding westbound at a high rate of speed when he failed to stop at the intersection. His motorcycle struck the I-25 right-of-way fence before continuing across both northbound and southbound lanes of Interstate 25, eventually coming to rest on the embankment on the west side of the interstate.

Despite being airlifted to the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado, where he fought for his life, Juan succumbed to his injuries several days later. The devastating news has left his loved ones struggling to find meaning in a world without him.
